America Alone: The End of the World as We Know It

This is Daniel Pipes observation of Mr. Steyn book, he says that it offers a devastating thesis but presents it in bits and pieces, so I shall pull it together here.

He begins with the legacy of two totalitarianisms. Traumatized by the electoral appeal of fascism, post-World War II European states were constructed in a top-down manner "so as to insulate almost entirely the political class from populist pressures." As a result, the establishment has "come to regard the electorate as children."

Now that last part really does seem to fit with the whole EU attitude which is so apparent with this insulting reporting from the EUCM for the crime of using my brain and realizing that Islam is not compatible with the society that I want to see.

I am expecting my parents to deal with the bully that is threatening me, but because it is such a pain for them, they are telling me off for bothering them about it while trying to bribe the bully, time for one hissy, sassy fit I think. Time to be extremely childish...
